The first demo video of my Digimon Tag Tamers remake. The video shows off the following features: XML scripting support Changing backgrounds Printing text using the original game's font User name input Title menus Sorry about the jerkyness of the video, Windows Media Encoder made it jerky enough, YouTube made it worse.

Apr 23, 2011 - Not to be rude, but it's actually Ryō [Hepburn], Ryô [Nihon-shiki], Ryou [Kana Spelling], Ryoh ["passport Hepburn"] or Ryoo [Modified Hepburn], but never Ryo. Ryou and Ryō are the most common proper spellings. (I personally prefer Ryoh.) It's unexplainable, but there's a habit of dropping any indication of long vowels from Japanese imported to English, but 遼 (Distant) can only be read as Ryō or Haruka (kun). "Ryo" is a group of different words altogether. (Wiktionary search りょ.)

Apr 23, 2011 - Never mind the conclusion, it might be possible that just for this story character, "Ryo" may be an alternate romanisation of his name, or maybe even a nickname, the same way that you could romanise "kyatto" as "cat" and nickname Megumi (or Keiko) as Meg. In Kana however, it would still be spelled "Ryou". The reason why is because his backpack strap does say "Ryo", which I had forgot that. However, I still wouldn't disregard all of this. It's still important to keep in mind =)
