This machine positions the balloon correctly on the catheter shaft before commencing the neck welding sequence. Both balloon necks are welded in a two stage sequence, which utilise different sections of the heater jaws. The first stage tack welds the balloon neck and the second stage finish welds the balloon neck. Each weld position involves two hits with the product rotated through 90° for each hit.
