The future and sustainability of the work in The Village at Market Creek lies in the hands of the next generation. Developing youth leadership and voice in the Village is happening now through The Youth Moment. "The Movement" was established by community youth to create a positive counter-culture of young people addressing the critical issues faced by their peers. What began as a unique approach to prevent vandalism in southeastern San Diego is now one of the country's most innovative youth art programs.
